Undergraduate Cultivation

BIBS prioritizes the cultivation of students' research and innovation skills within its undergraduate education framework. To facilitate this, the institution organizes undergraduate academic forums, providing students with opportunities for advanced research training. The school attaches importance to the international experience of its students and helps students to go on exchange or study trips to foreign universities to increase their international perspective through establishing partnerships with notable foreign universities.

Currently, BIBS offers four majors in terms of undergraduate education: Financial Technology, Economics (Data Science), Human Resource Management (Global Leadership), and Accounting (Second Bachelor Degree):


Financial Technology

The primary goal of this program is to nurture financial professionals with a "technology+" edge. These individuals will possess a strong foundation in finance, alongside cutting-edge expertise in areas covering artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, and big data, all of which can be effectively applied in the financial market and financial services industry. Furthermore, they will demonstrate robust practical skills, a keen spirit of innovation, and the ability to catch up with the evolving landscape of financial technology, ultimately taking a leadership role in driving progress within the field.


Economics (Data Science)

The objective of this program is to foster future academic leaders. These individuals will possess a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of Mathematics and Economics, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the cutting-edge developments in the Digital Economy and data science analysis technology. They will also be well-versed in China's economic operations and reform initiatives while maintaining a global perspective and a capacity for innovation.


Human Resource Management (Global Leadership)

This program aims to nurture students with a balanced emphasis on academic growth, professional competence, and humanistic literacy. It places particular importance on shaping positive character, fostering a sense of community and social responsibility, and nurturing a global perspective. Combined with the teaching of multidisciplinary theories and the development of practical skills, our goal is to guide students toward becoming exceptional global leaders with a multidisciplinary background and a wide-ranging skill set in human resource management and public administration.


Accounting (Second Bachelor’s Degree)

This program is dedicated to cultivating future elites with excellent humanistic values and scientific literacy, a broad professional foundation in Economics and Management, an open international perspective, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Accounting students are expected to acquire a robust foundation in professional accounting knowledge, practical accounting skills, and computer applications, attain a high level of foreign language proficiency, and exhibit the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Moreover, they should be adept at conducting scientific research, possess a pioneering spirit, and embrace innovation. Their competency should extend to various roles, including accounting, auditing, management, analysis, and research, making them well-suited for positions within large enterprises, listed companies, financial institutions, accounting firms, government agencies, and public institutions.
