About BIBS

On October 9th, 2021, the standing committee of Party committee at Beijing Normal University (BNU) decided to establish the Bay Area International Business School (BIBS), an institutionalized teaching and research establishment located in Zhuhai.

BIBS, tapping the edge of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of China, adopts an international management system and stays committed to building a higher education output platform linked with world-renowned universities, government forces, and top industry groups. BIBS covers the traditional disciplines of business school as well as offering applied disciplines that incorporate the current digital economy as a foundation. At the same time, BIBS attaches great importance to scientific research and innovation, introduces outstanding scholars from home and abroad, and promotes frontier academic research in economics, finance, accounting, and management. BIBS also cooperates with relevant enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to encourage the integration of production, education, and research, contributing to the rapid development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

BIBS has a high-quality international faculty led by a famous management economist, Professor KONG Ying. All of the teachers achieved doctoral degrees and graduated from acclaimed universities such as Carleton University in Canada and the University of California at Berkeley in the United States.

The school launched a part-time master's program in Business Administration in 2022.

Beijing Normal University is a state-key university directly under the Ministry of Education and has become a comprehensive public university famous for its disciplines in education science, basic science, and liberal arts and sciences.
