Bay Area International Business School and Zhuhai High-tech Zone Discussed Cooperation Projects

On the afternoon of February 9, KONG Ying, Dean of Bay Area International Business School and his delegation visited ZHANG Hanming, member of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Adminstrative Committee of Zhuhai High-tech Zone and had a discussion on project cooperation. Also participating in this discussion were XIA Jia, General Manager of the Carbon Neutral Segment of Everbright Financial Holding Asset Management Co Ltd, JIN Jie, Chairman of China Zero Carbon Industry Investment Group, GAO Demin, Vice President of Tsinghua University Zhuhai Alumni Association, and relevant personnel from District Science and Technology Industry Bureau and Bay Area International Business School.

ZHANG Hanming gave a detailed introduction to the policies on talent funding in the Hi-tech Zone, including the policies on the introduction of top talents, high-level talents and innovation and entrepreneurship teams, the subsidies for overseas students, Hong Kong and Macao talents to start their own businesses in the Hi-tech Zone, and also explained the financial support policies for innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises in the Hi-tech Zone.

KONG Ying introduced the construction plan of the Institute of Advanced Energy Storage and Circular Economy in the Greater Bay Area, and his hope to create the first carbon credit blockchain demonstration project in the high-tech zone, as well as his plan to set up a dual carbon industry fund.

Subsequently, all parties exchanged views on project cooperation.
