On the morning of April 9th, The Bay Area International Business School(BIBS) successfully hosted a welcome ceremony for exchange students from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration(RANEPA) in Room B307 of the Liyun Building. Its purpose was to strengthen educational and cultural exchanges between the two institutions and to encourage international cooperation and academic research.Attending the ceremony were Kong Ying, Dean of BIBS, Evgeniy Itsakov, Vice President of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Guo Kanjun, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai, as well as teachers and student representatives from both schools. The meeting was chaired by Lan Tian, a student representative from BIBS.
Dean Kong Ying, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome to the students from Russia and introduced Beijing Normal University and BIBS. As one of the emerging institutions, BIBS has gained wide recognition for its excellent teaching quality and internationalized educational philosophy. Dean Kong showcased the significant achievements of the school in areas such as sustainable development, digital economy, and financial technology. He expressed that this exchange and collaboration would lay a solid foundation for both sides to advance high-quality development of international openness in education.
Evgeniy Itsakov, Vice President of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, delivered a speech, stating that the academy is one of the most influential educational institutions in Russia, renowned for its outstanding teaching and research achievements in the field of social sciences. Vice President Itsakov expressed the intention to further strengthen deep cooperation with BIBS to promote Sino-Russian cultural exchanges.
Following this, both schools exchanged gifts and engaged in in-depth discussions on how to enhance students' professional development and employment prospects. They shared teaching methods and experiences, exploring ways to better cultivate students' practical skills and innovative thinking.
