BIOGRAPH

Dr. Chengzheng Yu obtained his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Aug 2023). Dr. Yu serves as an Assistant Professor at BNU-BIBS (starting from Oct 2023), the head teacher of Class of 2026 MPACC (starting from Aug 2024). Previously, Dr. Yu obtained his B.S. in Mathematics and Economics (double-major) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2017 and M.A. in Applied Economics from Georgetown University in August 2018.

Dr. Yu’s research interests include Environmental and Resource Economics, Agricultural Economics, Applied Microeconometrics, Sustainability, and relative interdisciplinary fields.

Dr. Yu’s teaching areas include all levels of Microeconomics, Econometrics, Data Analysis, Applications of Statistical Software, Environmental and Resource Economics.

Dr. Yu achieved several awards in teaching, including the First Place in the Teaching Competition for Early Career Teachers from BNU-BIBS in June 2024, from BNUZH in September 2024, and from BNU in November 2024.
