HAN Zheng acquired his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tsinghua University, School of Economics and Management, his Master's degree in Economics from Nagoya University, Japan, and the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA, respectively. He acquired his PhD in Public Policy (Economics) from the School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo, Japan. From undergraduate to doctoral studies, he was awarded various fellowships such as the Second Class Scholarship for Freshmen, the MEXT Japanese Government Scholarship, the University at Buffalo Presidential Fellowship, University of Tokyo Fellowship, among others. After graduation, he worked at the Institute of Advanced Studies of Hitotsubashi University and was awarded the "Grant-in-Aid for Early-Career Scientists" by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science for the period from 2022 to 2026.
